Frank is writing to Conrad Vande Velde. (Vandevelde would graduate in 1906).
Frank writes that the tiger arrived and mostly departed (referring to the Nov 18 loss by the Princeton Tigers football team to Yale 23 to 4 - Yale went 10-0 that year).
