BUSTER POSEY v LANCE LYNN 2014 NLCS GM2 GAME-USED BASEBALL GIANTS v CARDINALS

For sale is a truly unique collectable from the 2014 NLCS- Game 2- which was won by the host St Louis Cardinals vs the San Francisco Giants, 5-4.  Kolten Wong would famously decide this game with a walk-off 9th inning home-run vs Sergio Romo.
This specific ball was pitched by starter Lance Lynn to Buster Posey in the 1st inning.  Posey would foul this pitch back to the screen, and it was retrieved and authenticated.  Posey would be retired later in this at-bat on a long fly ball to the warning track.  Posey would go 0-4 in this game, which would snap Posey's 7-game post-season hitting streak.
Authenticated balls such as this are sent mid-game to sale to the public, and are sold by the team. Authenticated 2014 NLCS balls are extremely rare. The authentication is input by the on-site MLB authenticators, who apply the holograms and enter the details of the play.  Authentications can be verified through the MLB.com site.  This ball carries the hologram HZ362088.  I have attached a screen shot for your review of the MLB authentication serial number search result.
