This metal drop-box set contains 2 pieces which fit together.
The outer metal shield is secured underneath the gaming table.  The removable drop-box has 2 locks. A lock on the front and a lock on the left side.  After opening the left side lock there is access to the contents inside and also the top slide that covers the opening on the top of the drop-box.  After pulling back the top slide, the lock can be turned to hold the top slide open allowing the top open to drop chips and other items.  Next, the drop-box is inserted into the shield that was installed underneath the table creating a locking connection.  A key is needed to remove the drop-box from the shield once connected.  Since the front lock is holding back the top slide, when the front key is turned the top slide will rapidly close the top opening.  Once the top opening has been closed the drop-box connection to the shield will release and the drop-box may be removed.  A key will open the lock on the left side of the drop box to reveal the contents and reset the top slide if needed.
