Originally, this had two robust metal and plastic handles, which might've made the process of jerking your arms back and forth in order to cut through 20 inch diameter logs, someone easier. In practice though, no matter what kind of handle you put on this thing, metal, nylon, plastic, manila cord, shoelaces, Christmas ribbons, it's simply not going to perform the way many yo-yos on the Internet insist it can, going so far as to display pictures of 10 to 20 inch logs been easily sawed through. All this thing is good for is working up a sweat and contributing in your extended weight loss plan. During the action of cutting, the saw can very easily bind; you will be fixing this constantly, and at the same time, removing every outer layer in order not to overheat. If you're trying to collect sweat in bottles, then this would be a good catalyst for stationary intense physical activity; otherwise, just bring an actual chainsaw, or better yet, punch the tree until it falls over. The two para cord handles on the saw could theoretically be used as finger loops, however, I intended them as anchors for wooden handles which were removed some time ago; this is about the only way you could use this thing and not crush your knuckles.
Chain without loops is 28 inches long.
