In the top of the third, Yadier Molina led off by popping out to Alejo Lopez. Brendan Donovan walked to the plate. With the count 1-1, MINOR HELD THIS BALL IN HIS HAND!! He threw an 85.8-mph slider, and DONOVAN RIPPED THIS BALL 101.1 MPH AND 335 FEET, WHERE NICK SENZEL CAUGHT IT FOR THE SECOND OUT!! Minor got this ball back. Tommy Edman came to bat. Minor threw an 85.5-mph slider for a called strike. (Yes, that means Chuckie Robinson also touched this ball!!) Minor came back with a 79.9-mph knuckle curveball for a ball. He threw a four-seamer, and EDMAN FOULED OFF THIS BALL!! This ball was then retired. Edman was eventually HBP. Dylan Carlson ended the half inning by grounding out to Jose Barrero. The Cardinals won the game 5-3.
